Today was a lazy day. I started my liquid fast and I just didn’t feel hungry at all. I don’t think I’m going to drink anything else today, I’m pretty full with the smoothie. Tomorrow is my best friend’s birthday and she invited me along with her family to a Peruvian restaurant. I really don’t want to go because they probably won’t even serve salads and I’m fasting anyway. I’m not tempted by any food, I’m past that at the moment. I do have a few cravings here and there but I know how to make something taste much better than what I crave. Plus I hate when my friends and their families tell me I’m not eating enough and if I go tomorrow and they see I’m not eating they will start arguing with me why I’m doing it wrong and why its unhealthy blah blah. I don’t want to deal with that, I know what I’m doing and I’m capable of taking care of myself. I’m not going to get into the whole dieting thing with my friends and their families because I really wouldn’t want to start a fight with them. I don’t see how eating what they eat is far healthier and or better for the body than what I’m consuming, that just makes me laugh. “Meat? No thank you. Dairy? Nope. You must be an alien Ley, you’re not normal.” Oh well, that’s just me and I’m happy to be the way I am. It’s not about weight or being toned, its about my health. Obviously I do like to loose weight, getting toned, and everything that comes along with it but whats important to me is feeding the body the right food and also let the body rest by not stuffing my face with unhealthy food every second of my life.
Anyways… I didn’t exercise as much as I would of liked but tomorrow is a new day and I have a few videos I’m going to follow! :)

Well at first I was looking for smoothie recipes in raw food websites but after a while I just started adding different types of fruits and try switching spinach with kale and other greens. Now I’m doing an experiment with the seaweed and see if I see any changes in my skin, hair, and nails. I always add spirulina because it has a lot of nutrients and I made a habit of using it. Sprouts are very good for the body and they help digestion. Other than that I just experiment with different fruits and everyday try and switch it up. Berries are full of antioxidants so thats always something good to add. There’s tons of other things I would like to experiment with in my smoothies but for now I keep it simple. It’s very satisfying and sometimes 1-2 liters a day can keep me going for 5 or more hours, this is why I usually drink one before I head to class.
