I have been raw for 3 months and still going strong. I love making recipes, but generally I try to keep it simple and still be able to enjoy it.

Today I had class at 8 am and usually I’m very tired and cranky in the mornings but lately I haven’t had any problems. I even wake up at 5 and not feel a bit tired even if I go to bed at 12. Raw food is amazing!!! :)

So, onto my day!

Breakfast: Fruit bowl

  • 2 Apples (grated)
  • 1 1/2 Kiwis
  • 1 tbs. Cinnamon

I love, love, love Kiwi! This is usually my favorite fruit combination. :P

After breakfast I ran out the door (I’m usually always late to class).

When I got home I was inspired by a youtuber to make some energy bars. I grabbed whatever was on hand and tried soaking everything before using since I remembered for once! I ate this before my exercise.

Homemade Energy Bars:

  • Spirulina
  • 5 Pitted Dates
  • 1 cup soaked walnuts
  • 1 cup soaked sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbs flax meal
  • 3 tbs of cacao nibs
  • Sesame seeds

I mixed Walnuts, Sunflower seeds, dates in a food processor, and then just added in the rest of the ingredients. I made the mixture in a bar form (you can make any shape) and coated them with Sesame seeds. Save in fridge.

I ate 2 bars before my workout. They were surprisingly good.

Exercise:

  • Rebound - 20 minutes
  • 11 ab exercises - about 5 minutes
  • 15 push ups

During my exercise I drank about 2 glasses of water. I usually don’t drink any but I had them on hand because I need to increase my water intake.

Dinner: Juice

  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Celery
  • Beet Juice
  • 2 Apples
  • 5 Kale Stems
  • Half  of a cucumber

I had dinner around 4:30pm and this was the last thing I had. I’m still not hungry which is good since I’m about to go rest. Well, I’ll post tomorrow with an update. :)
